Ashley Carnahan hugs Jacob Shaffer as the 2007 Westminster College mock convention comes to a close. The convention is one of the oldest surviving collegiate conventions in the country. It has been held quadrennially since 1936 with the exception of 1944, a war year. In 2007, John Edwards won the nomination.
